Chotebor, 4/16/23 C.E. – In the quiet town of Chotebor a small warehouse was rocked by a gas explosion last night, causing a fire and minor damage to nearby buildings. Local authorities were quick to respond, and while the blaze was contained, the questions surrounding the incident continue to burn.
The explosion blew out a portion of the warehouse wall and shattered windows in the nearest building facing the site. There were no reported injuries, but the incident has left the community shaken.
Authorities have not released an official statement about the cause of the explosion, but they have arrested one man in connection with the incident. The man, whose identity has not been publicly disclosed, is being held for questioning.
However, a Future News correspondent spoke to residents of the neighborhood who believe the police may have the wrong man. They identified the arrested individual as Güntaar Žižka, a Czech native working as a janitor at a local woodworking shop just a few buildings up the street from the warehouse.
“He’s a good man, always polite and hardworking,” said Jana Novak, a neighbor who has known Žižka for several years. “I can’t imagine him being involved in anything like this.”
The warehouse in question is owned by InnunData Ltd., a major research corporation with high-level ties to scientists working on the Kuznetsova Gateway. The involvement of InnunData has turned what might have been a mundane accident into an international headline. While the company has remained tight-lipped about the incident, some are speculating that there may be more to the story than meets the eye.
“The explosion was terrible. So loud!” said a local business owner who wished to remain anonymous. “It’s all madness. A gas explosion? Who heats an empty warehouse?”
For now, there are more questions than answers in this usually quiet town.
